Jeep Delivery

I ordered my new Jeep Grand Cherokee L V-8 Summit Reserve last July. Still awaiting shipment. The vehicle is done, complete, ready, BUT sitting in a lot somewhere waiting for delivery. I am so frustrated. I have called my dealer (avoiding me?) and have contacted Jeep to no avail (their response is that I will be sent an email when the status changes). No one can tell me WHY it's still sitting in a lot awaiting delivery. It's apparently sitting in the same state where I'm located and not very far away from me (wish I could just go get it!). Any insight? Any suggestions?

@JeepCares should step in here.

As far as the dealer ghosting you, it's my opinion that you should find another dealership and order a 2022. Hopefully JeepCares will give you an incentive code or something to help you out since the prices have gone up on the 2022 models. This is all just my opinion however.

I should have mentioned in my original post: I received an email from Jeep that said my new Jeep would be delivered the week of December 23rd. We're now a month later and still no Jeep delivery.

I considered canceling and ordering a 2022, however, I ordered the 2021 Jeep knowing that it had the air suspension and could lower when getting in and out (I'm 5'2" and thought the vehicle was a little tall for me). Apparently, the 2022 model will not have this capability.

All the 2022 Summits have air suspension. The only required delete on the MY22 Summit is the eLSD, which is available on the Summit Reserve. To be honest, you might even be able to find a MY22 Summit on a dealer lot by now. They built and shipped a bunch of them recently.

I ordered yesterday (3/11/22) and even the SR has eLSD delete right now 😞

Any updates? Curious to know if you received your Jeep yet.. If not I would be concerned that the batteries would be dead from sitting for so long. I would cancel and order a 2022. You can still get the air suspension on the SR. I ordered a Summit on 2/21 and the air suspension was included.
