Silly me as I thought I was the only one that figured out that little hack. It does work great and is much more user friendly than the light touch of your hand.
Yes It is a very annoying vehicle to say the least. Sorta like the memory seats that haven’t work in the year I’ve owned this pos not to mention the dozen or so intermittent glitches that you guessed it…. Service dept could not duplicate.
That gobley gook you get from Jeep hardly constitutes a reply. All they do is patronize and kick the can down the road, nice or not.
Anyway I’ll just continue to put up with this bucket of bolts till my new non Jeep product arrives.
I was offered $60k earlier this year by CarMax. Course that was then and this is now. Market conditions change and at the time it only had about 3,000 or so miles on it. I would be happy with $60k in April/May.
Sorta ironic as I have the same mileage/ condition vehicle as you. Might be able to get more selling it PP, CarMax, etc. Come spring of next year I’ll be researching all my options. I think most anywhere would offer more than Jeep.
When the POS radio acts up on my 13 month SR (which it does regularly) the only thing that works for me is to do a reset by simultaneously holding down the volume/station buttons until it turns itself off. Most of the time that does the trick though sometimes it’ll take a couple of tries. GLTU.
