Any orders placed yet?

I ordered a Summit Reserve 4x4 with the 5.7 on 10/23/21. Still waiting to hear back from the dealer although they were confident it would be allocated either this Wednesday 10/27 or next Wednesday 11/3. I will update throughout the process!

Order details:
  • Color: Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat
  • Interior Color: Tupelo/Black (Tan/Black)
  • Advanced ProTech Group IV (required)
  • Luxury Tech Group V (required)
  • 5.7L HEMI (required)
Like the one article on here says you can only order certain trims. The dealer I ordered at only had the Summit Reserve with the 3 required options I put in my list or the Limited trim with some required options. My dealer told me that they were only allowed to start taking orders on Monday 10/18/21. Not sure if that's a nationwide thing or just for them. Also, I did not ask but the way my dealer made it sound is that the 4xe is not yet available to order however take that with a grain of salt as I did not investigate too much. Also, if anyone else is wondering, the only other option I was asked about if I wanted it besides the 3 required ones was the "Finishing Package by Mopar" but I declined to have that added on my order. Hopefully this helps if people had any questions about ordering a WL!

Not sure why your dealer informed you that the 5.7 is a required build option on the Summit Reserve.
I was with my Gen Manager buddy at Jeep today doing several different build configurations and specifically asked that question regarding your comment and he showed me without a doubt, it is not required.
The Advanced Pro Tech and Luxury Tech, your dealer is correct!

I was told the same. I wanted the 5.7, and when I checked to make sure he had ordered it with the 5.7, and he said the only way to get a Summit Reserve was with the Hemi. This was on the 18th, I'm guessing they are still sorting through the order details and may have changed and now allow the V6 with the Summit reserve.

Mine isn't scheduled yet, but hopefully based on your timing, mine will be scheduled for mid November.

Just a small update received vin and allocation on 10/27. And now we wait, my doubts are high that I’ll see her before Christmas and my bet would be that’ll she’ll hopefully arrive before February of 2022. Will update as I can

I put my order in and got a VIN about 2 weeks before you. First time I called Jeep to get a delivery estimate they said 7-9 weeks and that my vehicle was in the build queue.
I called this week and they said it wasn’t being built yet as they were waiting for parts.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay cool that’s not too bad. Hopefully you get yours soon! Thank you for the info!

Any idea when they are going to open up the 4xe for ordering? Also, any idea when pricing is coming out? I find it hard to believe that they expect you to order a vehicle not knowing what it costs.

Jeep and @JeepCares haven't exactly been forthcoming about these issues. They've told me to keep checking Jeep.com and maintain contact with the dealer. It's a little frustrating that they can't even answer the most basic stations question about availability.

Placed my order for GCL Overland w/ 5.7, UConnect 5.0 w 10.1 Display, Adv.Pro Tech Group lll, Luxury Tech Group lV.
Tempted to step up to Summit/Summit R but, Love the exterior but not a fan of the odd stitching contrast of seats and wood grain choice used.
I inquired about the Off Road package, I like the Wheels better and a more aggressive tire for winter use, but no longer an option for ‘22 in the Overland. Not sure of other trim levels.
Actually a bit surprised they are not offering the 5.7 w eTorque, not that I truly believe it improves fuel economy, had one in a 1500 years back. Just thought it was interesting that it is not offered. I am guessing its due to the release of the 4xe
Going to be a big change from my ‘21 RAM 2500.

Confirm you can't get an overland with the off road package??

I placed an order for a Summit Reserve (V8). It went into D status within 36 hours, but who knows how long it will stay there.
I placed an order for the same vehicle 4 weeks ago and checked with the factory yesterday regarding the status. Apparently the build has not been scheduled yet as they’re waiting on parts. I’m not familiar with the status letters. Can you tell me what ’D status’ is?

Has anybody placed an order yet for the WL74?
Yes, I placed an order 4 weeks ago for the Summit Reserve with a V8. Checked with the factory yesterday and was told that they’re waiting on parts, so no build schedule yet. I was told that once the parts are all available that build to delivery would be 8 to 12 weeks.

D is "supposed" to mean that all parts are available and VIN assigned, but not yet given a date to enter assembly. However, it seems like cars in D status are waiting on parts these days.

Thanks for the info. I hope the parts shortage clears up quickly.
